Capella local and committee member Enid Bailey is determined to win the battle, and said she isn’t going to give up.

“We were one of the very early pioneer councils and our whole area is really flattened by all this,” Mrs Bailey said.

“We never got a chance to have a say. We just got told we were going to amalgamate and lose our shire.

“We want to have our own shire back again.

“We are going to keep going until someone listen to us.”
